Getting married in Alentejo always sounds like a wonderful idea, and a wedding at Monte do Ramalho can only be amazing \u2013 we’ll show you how it all happens!<\/p>\n

We imagine a long, peaceful late afternoon, with a generous table filled with savory dishes, sweets, and fine Alentejo wines, a vast and serene landscape, and of course, a grand party under the stars.<\/p>\n

Manuela Estevinha, who runs this beautiful estate, shares a bit of its story when it comes to weddings:<\/p>\n

“We were just a rural tourism farm when, in 2013, we were discovered by a Portuguese and Italian couple. They loved the venue, especially the fact that we had never hosted a wedding before. Their wedding took place in June 2014, entirely outdoors, with our festival-style lighting, long tables and outside catering.<\/em><\/p>\n

We didn\u2019t have rooms for a backup plan, but luckily the weather was perfect, with a beautiful summer day (and night).
\nThat same year, we hosted another wedding in early September. To make it possible, we renovated one of our big rooms because having a backup plan was a requirement for our venue to be chosen. And in hindsight, I\u2019m so glad we did it, because it rained heavily on the wedding day!<\/em><\/p>\n

In 2015, we renovated the space again to better accommodate weddings in full mode, and since then, we\u2019ve been growing continuously.”<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Getting \"White \"Getting<\/p>\n

At your disposal, we have five houses for you and your guests, a century-old fig tree that provides shade and serves as the backdrop for the civil ceremony, a large natural pool for a swim before the party, a courtyard with trees to host the dinner tables, and a threshing floor adorned with festival lights where you can dance until the early hours of the morning. As a backup plan, if the weather is unpredictable, there are two beautiful indoor rooms available.
\nPets are more than welcome!<\/p>\n
